If you ever been to Hainan Island, I am sure that you would not have missed the Chicken Rice. Hainanese is well-known globally for its chicken rice.

This dish found its way all over the world.

I found this little road side store selling chicken rice. The lady that manned the store sells chicken rice on the street of Jonker Walk during the evenings from Fridays to Sundays.

She starts early and ends early, too. Being curious, I tried her food one evening. I was pleasantly surprised. It tastes just like what you expect when you dine in China.

For the price I paid, I believe that you should give it a go, too.
